From those not from these parts, its a long climb at 75+ mph at altitude. The Eisenhower goes right through the continental divide. This is usually because when running the clutch fan and driving are enough to cool the radiator. Well if it's your AC that causing you to overheat then to me that means your cooling system is marginal and the increase in heat load from the AC is overloading it. Start as instructed above and see where you are coming up short.This will also cause the engine to run hotter and will affect the temperature level of the Jeep's heating system. However, even if there is no coolant smell, but an issue with the heater, it is a good idea to check these hoses for heat.
